Ode to a kitty litter

Published by puppyeyes at 11:22 am under Uncategorized Edit This

There was a time, about six months ago that I knew nothing about kitty litter except that in some houses it stunk up the place. I simply had trained my cat to go in the garden and had lived in blissful ignorance ever since. However this came to an abrupt halt when my mother left for England and my cat had kittens. I would continuously find that my cat, in an act of defiance, would pee on my mum’s bed. It became too much the day she decided to pee WHILE I was on the bed. And so began the search for the best kitty litter available

First of all the first thing you have to do when searching for kitty litter is finding a good place to store it. Cats like dark and private place so make sure Bob is not exposed to the world. If my cat spots me looking at her she will not go.  I guess I really can’t blame her.

The next step is finding a good kitty litter, preferably with a semi lid, which prevents the sand from spilling over to your carpet or floor. Then, it is on to finding the best kitty litter.

Firstly, I would recommend not sparing any cost over the kitty litter. It isn’t worth your mental wellbeing. The first kitty litter I bought cost me only seven bucks and lasted seven days before it stunk to holy heaven.

You have to look for a kitty litter, which does three things: eliminates odor, allows proper clumpage and had enough sand for multiple uses. There are those who are of the opinion that this is damaging for the cat and their hygiene, so it is better to make your own choice.

I must say that once I went through those steps it was much easier process, I didn’t even need to train the cat to go in the litter, needless to say my mother’s bed has been safe ever since.
